Life Starts Now is the third studio album by Canadian hard rock band Three Days Grace. The album was released on September 22, 2009. It is the band's second album produced by Howard Benson, after its commercially successful predecessor One-X. It has already sold more than 300,000 copies alone in the US.

My review / opinion
The music is purely amazing. Just as one can expect after seeing the cover. I love it. I totally love the cover. And the same way I love the music. I remember being enchanted by their previous album One-X I listened to that one for a very very very long time, and I guess this one's got the same chance, or even bigger. Although, I don't know whether I'll find here any song to stand as equal to Animal I Have Become or I Hate Everything About You (from the first album).
This is one of very few bands I've been knowing for so long. I found them about 5.5 years ago, back in middle school. That was just by chance. I looked for some other band I guess, but found them. Downloaded 5 songs, liked them, especially Drown because of its powerful lyrics. Then for a ling time nothing, and on one message born I re-discovered the band, downloaded full 2 albums or something like that. yet, that wasn't the breaking point. That was when I read part of their lyrics (from Animal I Have Become) in one fanfiction I was reading and loved at that time. The fic was extremely intense, and the lyrics suited perfectly, I looked them up, got surprised, found the song (either on my hard drive or that was the time I downloaded the albums) and fell in love with it, hard.
That's how it goes with me and Tree Days Grace. Last year I bought their first album, the only one I own, since I got bored by One-X after listening to it for so long. And to be honest, the first one was the one with the best lyrics, no stupid love-songs, heavy rock. I miss it now.
Life Starts Now from what I was able to make out of the lyrics during listening to the songs is sadly mostly about love, relationships, and all that overrated shit. However, it's amazing from the musical point of view. The melodies are catchy, lyrics as well, to be honest. It's definitely more similar to One-X rather than Three Days Grace but that's okay. Sad thing is that probably after 2 weeks of listening to it (or something around that time) I will get bored of it, if not even earlier. I hope now.
Actually, in all the albums I had to catch up with, and listed at the beginning of this entry this is the only one that I liked immediately, after first song, or a few first songs it caught my ears and heart.
From the songs I can already mention and say I recognize by title and that may be nominated for The Best Song of the Album and could join I Hate Everything About You and Animal I Have Become would be Goin' Down. It is really really catchy! I'd say it's kind of Nickelback-style. Well, I love Adam's voice ♥
And now, I'm going to drown in their new songs, listening to that wonderful voice. Yeah, I guess he should join the group of my favorite vocalists, he deserves it.
